This movie is too strong for myself.
If anyone here have watched Thirteen Terror , on the episode EP.13 they included this story in it.
I have to go thru this movie twice until i can understand but not fully understand with the situation and of course by after reading lots of explanation and reviews.
This movie is psychological so there are a lot of metaphors in it.
I personally thinks that Gun and Oab did a very good job on delivering the their individual roles.
I came across this movie because it was played by Gun Atthaphan
Because of being gay, Tam, a high school student is bullied at school and mentally abused at home by his family. One day he met Phum for the first time near the dirty pool. After that, they have keep meeting up and Phum even come over to Tam's rooftop. Phum is strong, independent and confident boy that always listen and talk to Tam. Being Gay means Tam has no friend and Phum is the only friend that Tam has. Tam thinks that Phum make him feel peace with himself.
I did not understand about the scene where they holding their breath while looking up to the sky from inside the pool/river. It does not explain much about this. But after read all the explanation across the net, some said that this scene is actually representing " to be dead without being dead " .
There are so many psychological and mystery from every scene that asked us to think, but my corrupted my is totally corrupted. Then it is completed destroyed when i found out that Phum is actually a person that Tam created in his mind. He created Phum in his mind as the person that he wanted to be but he can not. The movie is back and forth between Tam's reality and dreams.
The scene that his family being murder is a questioning to myself too. I think that he really did killed them. But did he? of its just a hallucination in his mind because he want to be at peace? His mother is always screaming and accusing him things that he did not do. Just because he is Gay.
Its mind-blowing. I think even if i re watched it for the 3rd time, i still can not understand it.
But i like to see and read others opinion about it.

DeleteJudging by what you have written...this is going to be quite mind-bending and open to so many different interpretations. Perhaps it is directed in such a way so that the viewers can decide what actually happened (or not). Still, this sounds interesting.

DeleteHuhuhuhu , bagi saya macammana sekalipun bagus jalan ceritanya tapi hakikatnya tetap tak bagus jugak sebab dia akan jadi biasa walhal. Sebaiknya jangan review cerita macam ni sebab akan buat orang ramai nak tahu. Harap siapa yang menonton just ambik mesej yang baik2 sahaja dalam cerita nih , mana yang pelik2 jangan di buat.
